I ASCEND

Unmasking The New You!

Let’s start from the beginning,
With Christ you’re already winning.
Although it may feel like a daunting task
Through all the scars and the pain, you too can unmask.
You can unmask down, deep within.
Perhaps there are Insecurities, about who you are,
or where you have been.
Is it the color of your skin?
Just know, before the foundation of the world you were on the creator’s mind.
He knows the thoughts he thinks towards you, for they are kind.
Remember you are a diamond, a treasure, a rare find.
It’s okay to be alone with yourself.
Because you will find down on the inside,
there is an abundance of wealth.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made.
Dark or light no matter the shade.
Remember you don’t have to rehearse all the negativity, or the pain.
God has promised to give you beauty for ashes, and release to you the latter rain.
Who am I? is an appropriate question to ask.
During his process he will help you unmask.
Let Jesus into that room where it’s been the roughest.
Let him unravel as he discloses,
those things you think are the toughest.
For God indeed is fighting for you,
Just open up and allow him to reveal the new you.
I can imagine Jesus saying only if they knew.
For all of heaven is cheering for you to be revealed.
Time is up for the enemy; your true identity and purpose can no longer be concealed.
The Lord has come to set the Captive free.
In his wing there is complete healing for you and me.
Some situations cause us to say Lord open my eyes so I can see, vividly, what’s inside me.
God has come to take away any past shame.
Submit yourself to him for you will never be the same.
All things are possible with God for he’s not like man.
You can put your trust in him
he fully understands.
For Jesus has searched you, and is acquainted with all your ways.
God is interested in fruit that stays.
So, go ahead and let God pour in the oil and wine.
Trust Jesus you’re going to be fine.
Through all of your inner struggles and pain.
Just know all you have been through is not in vain.
Now you know
the place that God has been trying to take you to.
So go ahead,
Let him unmask the New You!
